Post Acute Nurse Practitioner

Korzen Health is working with Healogics in regards to finding a Post Acute Nurse Practitioner in North LIttle Rock, AR.

We are looking to add an experienced Certified Nurse Practitioner to cover local SNFs 2 days per week and PRN at Wound Ware Center. Procedure experience within the last 2 years is required. For example: sutures, central lines, intubations, and anything that would be very specialized.

This is a part time, 16 hours/week, 2 days traveling to skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) to provide wound care to patients. PRN coverage at Wound Care center will also be available. This is a 100% wound care position.

Scope of Practice Includes:

• You will average around 18-20 patients a day.
• Performing basic wound care (dressing changes, chemical debridement) with some minor procedures.
• 2 days/week SNF, Plus PRN at wound care center.(total 16 hours). No Nights, No Call, No weekends.
• Compensation Model is salary with RVU after 1 year.
• You will work with Adult and Geriatric patients.

Wound Care Nurse Practitioner and Experience Requirements

• State License
• DEA License
• SNF or Wound Care Exp a Plus!
• ED or Urgent Care experience is a Plus!
• 1 year of NP experience is a must
• Must be currently performing procedures such as: sutures, central lines, intubations, and anything that would be very specialized
