Korzen Health is collaborating with a well-established healthcare provider in the beautiful coastal town of Ilwaco, WA. 

This newly established Primary Care group is part of a large multispecialty group serving the Ilwaco community.

We are seeking a full-time Family Practice Physician or Internal Medicine Physician (BE or BC) to join our team. The role involves coverage at 2-3 rural clinics (typically just 2) with a combination of clinic and hospitalist call duties.

Ilwaca is a small beach town on the west coast between Portland (109 miles) and Seattle (169 miles)-very pretty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient care at rural clinics.
  • Rotate as a hospitalist for one week (1:3 or 1:4 weeks).
  • Manage 14-16 clinic patients per day, with a reduced clinic load during hospitalist weeks.
  • Conduct rounds at 8 inpatient/swing beds, potentially increasing to 12 beds.
  • Collaborate with ED physicians for admissions (no requirement to come in from 7 pm-7 am).
  • Utilize EPIC EMR system.
  • Engage in teaching opportunities through rural resident program rotations.
  • Potential involvement in quality program support, CMO-like duties, or general program development.

Clinic Highlights:

  • Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
  • Expectation of 14-16 patients per day, with the opportunity to build your patient base
  • Local referring hospital with full subspecialist support
  • No call and no weekends
  • Opportunity to work 4-5 days a week
  • Full team in place, as the clinic is on the main hospital campus
  • Current Medical Foundation Group comprises 12+ Physicians

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • New Graduates are welcome
  • Visa candidates are welcome
