Position: SAP OTC EDI
Work Authorization: USC and GC holders only
Location: Remote/Hybrid - West suburbs of Chicago
Contract: Full time
Applicants for this position should be able to display leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Supply Chain Functional consultant with SAP SD and Logistics background with strong EDI background in the area of Supply Chain
- Knowledge of supply chain processes in minimum one industry type preferably Manufacturing, if not Automotive or Retail or Life Sciences
- EDI / XML technical/business experience in IDOC formats, BAPIs, BDC, mapping, X12 code usage, data transfer protocols
- Should be able to work with EDI integration team on EDI message for Orders, Order Acknowledgements, ASNs, Invoice etc. and should have worked on mapping Standard IDOCs for sales order processing including but not limited to transactions: 830, 850,855, 856, 810
- Experience working with a technical development team for implementation and support of enhanced SAP functionalities
- Strong understanding of integration between various SAP modules is required Good work experience with SmartForms, SAPScripts, EDI, LSMW, BAPIs, BADIs, IDOCs, ABAP Queries
- MUST have extensive experience as an SAP SD/LE Functional Consultant using ECC 6.0
The must-have skill sets
- Order Management , Availability Check , Delivery Process, Picking, Packing & PGI, Delivery, Handling Unit Outputs
- IDOCs/Interfaces
- Data maintenance related to Customer Master, Serial Number update, Material Master, etc.
- Experience in developing new reports, new transactions and tables and interfaces
- Can perform detailed design analysis by understanding the companys business requirements and business processes
- Expertise on preparation and Analysis of Functional Requirement Specification.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to work in both independent and team environments
- Should be able to work with the business resources for testing and transition
