Functional overview

White Horse Laboratories, a Western-owned and operated independent, third-party electronics test laboratory based in China is looking for an Product Analysis Engineer to join their growing Team in Manila. This individual will write, review, analyze and approve test reports. Product Analysis Engineers are deeply involved in process control and improvement for the test and inspection methods utilized in the lab and assist with the review of standards and preparation engineering documentation such as procedures, work instructions, training plans, and visual aids.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Review final reports for accuracy and completeness before submitting to customer.
  • Analyze manufacturer datasheets and other published information to determine the difference between devices that need to be verified in order to confirm authenticity.
  • Be familiar with current international standards for classifying product quality, authenticity, and required inspection processes and test methods.
  • Train inspectors to internal and international standards.
  • Maintain records and database for all orders processed, completed, customer disposition, and end-user disposition.
  • Develop and maintain database of golden samples and manufacturer information.
  • Research international industry and manufacturer standards and make proposals to management for areas in which improvements are required or recommended.
  • Support on quality system management and MSS Service.

Minimum qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of technical degree in microelectronics.
  • Must have three years’ experience working in electronic component laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Attending off-site training will be required.
  • Familiarity or documented training in 6 Sigma preferred.
