As Estimator, you will work collaboratively with the Procurement and Estimating Manager, Design, Delivery, and Client Relations & Service (CRS) teams to compile project cost estimates. Working within a Design and Construct business, this estimation process is to be completed at different times throughout the design process, with varying degrees of supporting documentation.

Estimates will require the completion of detailed take-offs from project documentation (or provided briefing information) to create client submission-ready cost schedules.  The estimation process may also require sourcing of quotations from external vendors and coordination of formal tender processes to achieve this.

  • Proficiency in Estimating Software and Tools: Experience with relevant estimating software and tools is essential. 
  • Solid Understanding of Construction Processes and Materials: A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost factors is crucial.
  • Exp with Commercial Interior Fitouts and Construction  also required; Other experience welcome
  • Experience in Estimating (typically 5+ years)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering) 
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex information and identify potential cost drivers. 
  • Excellent English Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
