Functional overview

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our team. As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for building and managing web pages and various website applications. You will lead the development, implementation, testing and maintenance of client websites and related applications.

Duties and responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
• Maintain and secure current client sites.
• Maintain in-house server
• Implement SEO recommendations.
• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
• Oversee junior web developers and evaluate their performance

Minimum qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years Web development experience
• Team management skills is an advantage
• Must have advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS, MySQL, PHP 7 to latest version
• Intermediate to advance knowledge in different platforms such as Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal
• Previous experience with PSD to WordPress HTML conversion
• Experience with mobile responsive websites
• Experience moving WordPress websites into hosting environments
• Experience updating WordPress plugins
• Designing, Coding and implementing WordPress website features and functionality
• Javascript experience: React, Angular, Node JS is a plus
• Experience in using GIT
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently and within a team environment
