The Pricing Strategy & Operations Associate/Analyst will support the Pricing Director in executing and operationalizing the company’s pricing strategy across governance, new product introductions, deal support, systems, and enablement. This role is highly cross-functional and execution-focused, partnering closely with Product, Deal Desk, Sales Ops, Finance, and Marketing to ensure pricing decisions are implemented accurately, communicated clearly, and measured effectively.

This role is critical to making pricing scalable, consistent, and operationally sound while balancing strategic rigor with executional excellence.

  • Support Product Managers in the development of pricing and packaging for new and existing products to ensure proposed solutions are scalable, competitive, and operationally sound. Areas of support may include (as appropriate):
  • Core principles 
    • Competitor positioning
    • Internal positioning
    • Value assessment
    • Unit Economics
    • Other relevant models
  • Coordinate Pricing Committee activities, including preparation of materials, documentation of decisions, and communication of approved pricing changes across the organization
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on operationalization of pricing changes (e.g. billing, finance, legal, sales enablement, marketing)
  • Maintain pricing documentation as the source of truth and proactively reconcile and cascade changes to impacted teams and systems (e.g., SFDC/CPQ, website, sales enablement)
  • Provide ongoing pricing and packaging Q&A support to Sales and Deal Desk
  • Advise and support Billing and Sales Operations on tooling configuration and builds to ensure approved pricing structures and discounting guardrails are correctly and optimally implemented
  • Support development and maintenance of pricing analytics and dashboards to help validate pricing proposals and identify pricing or packaging optimization opportunities
  • Conduct ad hoc pricing research and analysis and/or monitor market trends for strategic projects as needed
  • 2-4 years of experience in pricing, sales operations, business operations, consulting, or finance roles, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Strong analytical skills: Comfortable building financial models, analyzing data, and translating insights into actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional communication: Ability to explain complex pricing concepts clearly to diverse audiences including sales, product, finance, and executive stakeholders
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with multiple teams, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment across the organization
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills: Can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, maintain documentation standards, and follow through on commitments
  • Systems proficiency: Experience with Salesforce (CPQ experience strongly preferred), pricing tools, and business intelligence platforms
  • Experience in SaaS pricing, revenue operations, or product operations roles
  • Familiarity with usage-based, subscription, or outcome-based pricing models
  • Knowledge of quote-to-cash processes, billing systems, and contract structures
  • Background supporting pricing committees or governance processes
