The NOC Systems Tier 1 coordinate and facilitate onsite support to any systems related concerns and issues.  He/she is responsible of maintaining the systems availability and reliability.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Acknowledge the calls and assigned service requests, incidents, or queries via Service Desk according to SLA.    

  • Monitor the system health and acknowledge alert in the centralized monitoring (Solarwinds NPM) 

  • Provide Level 1 Technical support (Physical & Configuration Support)    

  • Respond and own until resolution of hardware or software problems 

  • Systems implementations and troubleshooting   

  • Document Method of Procedures for Maintenance of Hardware and Software initiatives.    

  • Assist OSS to perform duties as assigned.  

  • Interface with Network Operations Center (NOC) and Service Desk (SD) during Critical Events and Outages    

  • Provide Escalation Support to immediate superior.    

  • Perform hardware initial installation, racking and configuring of server and data center infrastructure 

Minimum Competencies: 

  • Set up administrative passwords and directory permissions 

  • Install and maintain antivirus, firewall and security.  

  • Provide hardware and software engineering support for I.T client / server applications.  

  • Intervene in situations which require an immediate response such as external virus or malware threats.  

  • Select systems, or build them from scratch, along with configuring and integrating them appropriately.  

  • Schedule routine maintenance tasks on assigned servers, to ensure that downtime is eradicated. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • At least 1 -2 years experienced in handling Systems and Servers.   

  • Previous experience working with physical servers  troubleshooting, physical repair.  

  • Systems & Servers standards and/or related degree with internship.    

  • Must be an excellent communicator/facilitator; ability to interface with clients at all level     

  • Knowledge in handling Systems & Servers. Such as: Microsoft Server 2012 and above, SQL, LINUX.    

  • Basic Networking and MS Office Skills.
