The Revenue Assurance Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the revenue assurance function within the organization. This role ensures that all revenues are accurately captured and billed. The Assistant Manager will assist in identifying revenue leakage, improving revenue-related processes, and mitigating financial risks to ensure the organization’s profitability. The role also involves managing a team, working closely with various departments, and utilizing analytical tools to ensure optimal revenue management.

- Revenue Assurance Oversight: Support the development and implementation of revenue assurance processes to detect and prevent revenue leakage.
- Data Analysis: Conduct regular data analysis to ensure the accuracy and completeness of revenue data. Identify discrepancies and provide solutions to rectify them.
- Reporting and Metrics: Assist in preparing reports and metrics to track revenue assurance performance. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management.
- Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to streamline and improve processes related to billing, invoicing, and revenue capture.
- Risk Management: Identify risks that could affect revenue recognition and work to minimize them. Support the development of mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Team Management: Supervise and guide a team of revenue assurance specialists and officers, ensuring effective performance, growth, and development.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Collaborate with Client Services, Compensation & Benefits, Customer Experience, IT, and other departments to address revenue issues and implement corrective actions.
- Audit and Compliance: Ensure that all processes and procedures adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- System and Tool Utilization: Use revenue assurance tools and systems to automate processes, track discrepancies, and optimize workflows.
- Training and Support: Train new team members on revenue assurance processes and tools. Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in people management
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems, preferably NetSuite
• Working knowledge of revenue risks, internal controls, and accounting principles
