Compliance Associate is expected to work together with the whole Compliance and Risk Management team in pursuit of a common goal. It is expected that she is capable of efficiently performing her assigned tasks and able to help the legal and compliance team achieve the overall department objective/s. She will assist in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks to ensure the organizations resilience and sustainability in coordination with different departments to effectively implement comprehensive risk management strategies, safeguarding the reputation and its assets. & standards to avoid Risk & unnecessary compliance exposures.

  • Monitor the compliance of the KMC/APEX entities through monthly audit or cross checking
  • Provide an evaluation report on the potential impact and likelihood of identified risk.
  • Provide report based on the monthly audit conducted.
  • Collaboration with different departments on a regular basis to update the specific risk exposures.
  • Summarize and update report based on the departments update.
  • Identify the existing mitigation strategies and action plans of the departments.
  • Evaluation of identified risk and review the insurance coverage as necessary.
  • Check if the risk can be transferred to (third party / others)
  • Coordinate with the department involved the updating of the policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Ensure that policies identified are aligned with the organization’s policies and practices.
  • Monitoring of guidelines, new laws, and regulations monthly through the L&C team.
  • Identify the threat and risk exposures of the new laws and regulations.
  • Creation of risk calendar and Gantt chart
  • In charge of risk files, storage and disposal (physical and online)
  • In-charge of weekly, monthly, semi and annual report of the Risk Profile
  • Other task assigned by the superior from time to time
  • Maintain company registrations such as but not limited to AMLA & NPC certifications.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for pre and post compliances such as but not limited to AML by coordination with Credit & Collections Team for facilitation of AML CTRs & STRs reporting.
  • Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to maintain ISO policies and procedures.
  • Attend as POC for audits (Internal & External ISO audits) and other audit-related matters.
  • Safe-keep all permanent Compliance files in Z-drive for Compliance and Public Folder, ERP, One-drive, and Sharepoint through proper monitoring.
  • Coordinate with Finance Team for monitoring of issued notices such as but not limited to Letters of Authority, Assessments, Subpoena, from BIR and LGU.
  • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate implementation of new certifications such as PCI DSS, B Corp Certification, GDPR, SOC II, etc.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, & annual monitoring for Risk Management Division.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, & annual reports for Risk Management Division.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, & annual calendar reminders, deadlines, and/or invites for Risk Management Division.
  • Other adhoc tasks assigned by the superior from time to time.
  • Bachelor’s degree Major in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, Political Science or Bachelor of Laws
  • 0-2 years’ experience in compliance, finance, and legal department in the same industry
  • Knowledge of Windows and other Software Applications
