The Procurement and Asset Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement processes and the complete lifecycle management of assets across all KMC sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, maintaining vendor reliability, and upholding compliance with procurement and asset management standards—all while driving cost efficiency and operational excellence.
The position requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands-on operational execution. The Manager will work cross-functionally to support the high-volume, multi-site needs of the organization and will lead a team focused on procurement and asset management functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Procurement Management
• Lead daily procurement operations, ensuring timely sourcing, PO approvals, and effective supplier coordination.
• Drive vendor selection, price negotiation, contract review, and ongoing supplier performance evaluation.
• Review and approve procurement requests related to new projects, office fit-outs, refresh cycles, and daily operations.
• Ensure adherence to PEZA regulations, ISO standards, and internal procurement policies.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, analyze performance data, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Oversee both local and international purchases, including coordination with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
Asset Management
• Oversee the complete asset lifecycle, including acquisition, tagging, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and disposal.
• Ensure real-time, accurate tracking of all IT and operational assets across KMC sites through the effective use of asset management systems.
• Oversee asset logistics for employee onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and project requirements.
• Facilitate regular asset audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards (PEZA, DENR, ESG).
• Monitor asset health and implement lifecycle planning strategies, including scheduled hardware refreshes and proactive replacements.
• Manage and facilitate proper disposal of obsolete or damaged assets in accordance with environmental and regulatory guidelines.
Leadership Function
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of procurement and asset management professionals.
• Set team goals, monitor performance metrics, and manage team workload and capacity planning.
• Provide ongoing training and mentorship to enhance functional expertise and service delivery.
• Ensure alignment with other departments and act as the primary escalation point for vendor or asset-related issues.
Compliance, Audit, and Documentation
• Maintain audit readiness for ISO, PEZA, and financial audits by ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Enforce strong internal controls to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance.
• Identify potential compliance risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Budget and Reporting
• Manage and monitor the department’s operational budget for procurement and assets management
• Analyze spending trends, evaluate supplier performance, and generate management reports as needed.
• Support forecasting of procurement and equipment needs based on hiring plans and site expansion.
Minimum Competencies:
• Experience managing international procurement and coordinating with freight/logistics providers.
• Proficient in asset lifecycle planning and provisioning for employee tech enablement.
• Strong Excel and/or Power BI skills for dashboarding and data analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, MS NAV) and asset management tools.
• Certification in procurement or asset management is a plus.
• Experience implementing digital procurement and asset tracking systems.
• Pollution Control Officer (PCO) certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with PEZA, ISO, and DENR compliance requirements.
