Functional Overview:
The Compliance Associate shall work closely with the Compliance Officer of the Incentives Management Division and is responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to investment incentives granted by various Investment Promotion Agencies (IPA), including PEZA, BOI, CDC, and other regulatory bodies through constant monitoring. The Compliance Associate will support the preparation, submission, and monitoring of applications, compliance reports, and renewals for the company’s registered projects. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with internal teams and government agencies to facilitate compliance, maintain eligibility for incentives, and optimize regulatory benefits.

•To familiarize end to end processes, monitor and undertake applications to ensure the overall compliances of KMC and Apex companies with various IPA's and other relevant government agencies
• Provide support in through calls, emails and setting up meetings with concerned government officers and other departments to expedite various applications
• Draft letters, certifications and other related documents to carry out various undertakings
• Provide support in BSBB roadshows with other departments through filling in relevant information and details to be discussed
• Assist clients and other stakeholders in addressing concerns relating to applications and other statutory compliance related concerns to various IPA's (PEZA, BOI, CDC etc.) and other relevant Government Agencies if necessary
• Coordinate with other departments in securing the necessary details and documents to ensure 100% compliance • Updates weekly report needed for Mancom reporting
• Ensure proper filing, archiving and tagging of physical documents in the filing cabinet.
• Creating and Plotting of Compliance Calendar
• Maintaining an organize storage file (One Drive & ZDrive) for seamless referencing
• Ensures 0% SLA breach on assigned tickets
• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Legal Management, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Regulatory Compliance, Incentives Management, Risk Management or Taxation are a plus.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in compliance, government incentives, tax incentives, or regulatory affairs.
- Experience handling incentives and compliance processes for PEZA, BOI, CDC, or other IPAs is required.
- Familiarity with investment laws, tax regulations, and government incentive programs.
