  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow management.
  • Conduct credit card reconciliations to validate expenses and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
  • Prepare and maintain the depreciation schedule, ensuring accurate recording of fixed assets.
  • Reconcile general ledger (GL) accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support the finance team in financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data.
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives.

Ad-hoc Tasks:

  • Trust Account - Allocation of debtor payments on a daily basis.
  • Distribution of trust monies at the end of the period or as required.
  • Ensure timely recording of transactions received from clients.
