Job Description
Our client is building a world class Procure to Pay team to lay the foundations for our future growth. As the Procurement Operations Lead you will be an instrumental core member of the team tasked with driving efficiency and controls in our purchasing process. You will do this through the implementation of robust tools, automations and controls.
You’ll partner with our Finance, Accounting, and Business Technology teams as well as many other stakeholders throughout our company. The ideal candidate is not only detail oriented but can step back to see the big picture.  You will have a knack for improving processes and creating efficiencies. You will have exceptional communication skills and a comfort speaking directly to stakeholders to resolve issues. 
Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead Operational Procurement and become the point person for all procurement related queries
• Oversee and manage the execution of  the Procurement Operations vendor team, implement and monitor performance metrics  
• Cross-functionally partner and work with Global Finance Team, Legal, IT and AP to ensure procurement operations excellence
• Lead continuous improvement operational efficiency projects including process automation and policy refinements
• Troubleshoot with internal customers regarding PO, Supplier, and Invoice issues
• Provide mentorship and direction to our team at all levels on purchasing processes
• Building, maintaining, and reporting against a monthly reporting dashboard including ownership of monthly procurement metrics analytics and reporting to senior Accounting and Finance leadership
• Implement a robust internal control process that supports the business and is SOX compliant
• Partner with the Accounts Payable, Legal, Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate accrual and month-end close cycles
• Ability to source, select, implement and train our team on new Procure to Pay solutions and processes (in partnership with IT, Biztech, Legal, Security, AP, Accounting and Finance teams)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in procure to pay or purchasing/supply chain
• Demonstrated experience executing to deliver highly effective, operationally excellent, scalable programs and processes
• Has excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills 
• Comfortable working in an ambiguous fast-paced environment
• Ability to independently solve complex problems
• Enterprise level Procure to Pay system implementation experience
• Bonus:  Working knowledge of Coupa
