The Purpose Driven Career Objectives of a NOC Network Manager

NOC Network Manger applies knowledge to solve complex technology issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Utilize consulting skills including questioning, listening, ideas development, personal rapport and subject matter familiarity to accomplish project tasks. Capable of consulting, designing, testing, implementing, managing capability requirements, and integrating of solutions into varied environments. 

To apply for this role, you are excellent at:

• Managing the global NOC operations, including routine network maintenance, upgrades, unplanned outages, incident response, security, compliance, and performance improvement 
• Planning and execution of network change activities. Establish and execute MOP process 
• Overseeing technical support operations for all network infrastructure. Provide feedback to Engineering. 
• Building internal relationships with Engineering and Care teams 
• Building relationships with vendor partners and strong escalation paths to reduce the resolution time for outages and incidents. 
• Pointing for carriers and network vendors.•Oversee network integration and testing efforts 
• Assisting in workflow automation and performance improvements. Including tools development 
• Managing the team that supports operational continuity and security, including hiring new team members 
• Contributing heavily to team development, employee appraisals, training plans, continuing education seminars, and other training and development resources for the support team 
• Managing 24X7 workforce, domestic and international 

  Your Success Profile includes:

• Minimum 7 years' experience in infrastructure engineering and operations. 
• Extensive experience in designs and support of large wide area network installations utilizing a hybrid (public & private) cloud infrastructure. 
• Extensive knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, network protocols  
• CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP Highly Desired 
• Network Design & Management 
• Bachelor’s degree preferred 
• This position is on call 7x24x365 Holidays and Weekends as needed 
• Maintenance and Outage Management 
• Experience working with or in NOC environments.
