The primary role of the Procurement Operations Support is to facilitate the smooth execution of procurement operations within the organization, adhering to established guidelines and supporting the overall supply chain management.

  • Assist in the preparation, distribution, and management of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs) to streamline procurement operations and achieve cost-effective purchasing solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and supplier communications to ensure transparency and effective audit trails.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and relevant legal frameworks.
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective negotiation and relationship management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly in the procurement module.
  • Knowledge of the industry's specific challenges and best practices.
  • Capability to analyze data and provide insights for cost reduction and procurement optimization.
  • Certification in supply chain or procurement management such as CIPS or CPSM is advantageous.
