Momentum Media is seeking for a web developer who thrives on the challenge of working across multiple projects and wants to be at the forefront of leading web technologies.

The web developer will play an important role working across a variety of projects within the business. In addition to working on core website CMS platforms, they will also work on new platforms and digital features leveraging external API’s.

This is an exciting role that will appeal to someone who is passionate about progressing their web development career.

Reports to: Senior Manager, Engineering

• Being heavily involved with new developments, taking responsibility for the effective code delivery from project start to finish
• Ensuring accuracy so development aligns with design
• Developing new modules/functionality to improve website usability
• Participating in development meetings and help guide the functional development
• Contributing ideas that will help each website's continued growth
• Working on other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your Success Profile includes:

• 3 years+ experience building websites, working both front and back end
• Proven ability in developing a site end-to-end
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel is a plus
• Expert level at HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and Github
• Good working knowledge of MySQL and other database management systems
• Experience with working with different CMS’s such as Joomla, Drupal, WordPress
• Experience with ecommerce platforms and payment gateways
• Ability to utilize APIs to create custom web apps
• Collaborative working style
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and synthesize information in a fast-paced environment is essential
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud is advantageous
• Be confident, resourceful and able to function with minimal supervision
• Be pro-active and highly organized
• Ability to solve coding problems creatively
• Have attention to detail
• Be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Have demonstrated ability to learn quickly
