The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating drone flight schedules, managing project data, assisting in project setup, conducting data analytics, generating reports, and providing administrative support. 

This role requires a strong understanding of drone operations, remote sensing principles, and data analysis techniques, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Drone Flight Coordination:

  • Work closely with drone pilots to schedule and coordinate drone flights for weekly site surveys, inspections, and progress monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, operational records, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure drone flight data is properly collected, stored, and integrated into the project database.
Project Setup & Data Organization:
  • Assist in the initial setup of projects, including coordination of data collection processes and organization.
  • Develop and maintain an organized and efficient data management system for drone imagery, remote sensing data, and project documentation.
  • Ensure data integrity and accessibility for all relevant stakeholders, providing timely access to key information.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, patterns, and potential challenges.
  • Create and deliver detailed project progress reports, incorporating data visualizations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Produce weekly progress reports for clients, focusing on tracking project milestones, installation quantities, and overall health of the project. Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with client expectations.
Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative assistance to project managers, including managing schedules and communications.
  • Maintain and organize project documentation, ensuring records are up to date and easily accessible.
  • Assist with project budget tracking, cost management, and procurement-related activities.
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or project management, ideally in the solar energy, construction, or remote sensing industry.
  • Experience with drone operations and remote sensing is a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, construction processes, or remote sensing principles.
  • Familiarity with project management and business management tools such as Jira, Netsuite, and similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for project tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate tasks and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly under pressure.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar project management credentials is a plus

  • Experience with solar or wind power plant components and their installation processes (e.g., PV modules, trackers, inverters, wind turbines).
  • Experience with photogrammetry software (e.g., Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, SimActive Correlator3D, Propeller, DJI Terra, or similar tools).
