Wantable is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with a solid understanding of e-commerce metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, is naturally curious and self-motivated to drive insights that impact business decisions across various facets of the organization. We’re looking for someone who can quickly understand complex database structures and identify key metrics in a sea of data points to help make data-driven decisions and surface new opportunities.

This position reports directly to the Lead Data Scientist on our Engineering team but will interface with senior leadership and all internal teams at Wantable (Marketing, Merchandise, Style, Customer Service, Warehouse etc).

The main responsibilities of a Data Analyst include:

• Act as a subject matter expert for all things related to Wantable data.
• Process ad-hoc data requests from internal teams, including surfacing clarifying questions and firming up requirements.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies such as inventory management, sales forecasting, and customer behavior.
• Analyze and surface insights related to company KPIs.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to understand data needs and support decision-making processes.
• Validate and verify data insights, ensuring accuracy and relevance for the business.
• Other duties as assigned by the CEO, Technical Co-Founder, and Lead Data Scientist.

Remote/In-Office requirements: 

• This position can be partial or fully remote; however, some mandatory meetings and events will need to be scheduled in person at our office in Manilla, as directed by your supervisor. 
• This role may occasionally require night or weekend work and therefore doesn’t have set “business hours.” However, most operations, meetings, and work are expected to take place during business hours, Monday through Friday, Central Standard Time.
