As a Junior Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our trading platform, focusing on the efficient handling and tracking of green coffee transactions from initiation to completion.

  • Monitor and process coffee trades and contracts, ensuring accurate execution across various global origins and destinations.
  • Track logistics milestones such as Free On Board (FOB), shipment, arrival, and delivery, updating systems to reflect current status.
  • Handle documentation workflows, including preparation and management of contracts, invoices, and shipping documents.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new producers, exporters, and roasters, including KYC (Know Your Customer) processes and account setup.
  • Reconcile transaction and payment data across multiple internal systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Generate operational performance reports and support internal analytics to enhance platform efficiency and functionality.
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements to the platform.
  • Maintain and refine internal process documentation to uphold and enhance operational standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or related fields.
  • 0–2 years of experience in trade operations, logistics, or marketplace support, preferably in a related industry.
  • High level of detail orientation, reliability, and a proactive approach in problem-solving.
  • Strong spreadsheet capabilities (Excel or Google Sheets) and a basic understanding of database or CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively working with global partners across different time zones.
  • A genuine interest in coffee, agriculture, or supply chain technology.
  • Prior experience in agricultural commodities, specifically green coffee or B2B marketplaces, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly beneficial.
  • Exposure to shipping/logistics platforms or ERP systems would be an asset.
