The Senior Data and Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire compliance and data privacy framework of the organization. This role will lead the end-to-end processes for data security, HIPAA compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory adherence. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing policies, managing compliance operations, and ensuring the company meets both local and international standards. Working closely with IT, General Managers, and the operations team, this position is crucial in driving high-level compliance strategies and ensuring timely execution across departments.
The main responsibilities of a Senior Data and Compliance Manager include:
1. Strategic Compliance Management:
• Oversee the entire compliance lifecycle, managing logs, processes, and the approval of compliance initiatives.
• Identify, assess, and resolve compliance-related issues, providing escalation and final resolution where necessary.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of all required permits and certificates (e.g., Building, Occupancy, ECC, and Sanitary Permits) to ensure continuous regulatory compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive oversight of environmental, HIPAA, and data compliance, ensuring the company adheres to both local and international regulations.
• Develop and deliver compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies, ensuring alignment with the latest laws.
2. Policy Development & Risk Oversight:
• Lead the development and execution of company-wide policies to address risks related to data breaches, HIPAA violations, and regulatory non-compliance.
• Manage network security strategies in collaboration with IT to ensure client and company data protection.
• Oversee audits, investigations, and risk assessments to ensure timely identification and resolution of compliance breaches.
3. Compliance Awareness and Training Programs:
• Lead the development of compliance education initiatives, internal audits, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and regulatory awareness programs across all departments.
• Implement ongoing training programs to ensure all staff understand their responsibilities under the company’s compliance framework.
4. Fraud Prevention & Mitigation:
• Establish and lead fraud prevention initiatives to mitigate risks related to operations and data security.
• Regularly assess fraud risks and adapt strategies to protect the organization.
5. Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Leadership:
• Develop, implement, and manage robust data privacy and security protocols.
• Partner with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with client network requirements and data privacy regulations.
• Oversee the company’s response to data violations and breaches, taking the lead in resolving and reporting incidents.
6. Executive Operational Leadership:
• Provide leadership to the compliance and operations teams, ensuring all compliance deliverables are met on time and with high accuracy.
• Work closely with General Managers and other senior stakeholders to align compliance initiatives with business operations and growth strategies.
