The Customer Service Specialist plays an important role in ensuring all company data is compliant with standards, and that best practices are followed. S/he is primarily responsible for facilitating the transaction processes in Moscord and supporting data quality and integrity by transforming customers’ data to the Moscord standard.

The main responsibilities of a CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST include:

  • Daily end-to-end transaction processing, in an effective and timely manner by:
    • Converting transaction data from various customer formats to Moscord standard, and uploading to Moscord transaction
    • Performing transaction-processing-related tasks such as product mapping, sourcing, customer coordination, order
    • Handling and overseeing assigned transactions until order delivery.
    • Generating and issuing transactional documents to the correct parties
    • Ensuring all transactions are processed and customer issues are resolved within the agreed turnaround time
    • Escalating any critical issues to the Customer Service Team Lead
    • Proper handover of open transactions or issues to the next shift
    • Performing data management-related tasks such as:
    • Data verification/validation
    • Data entry, cleansing, mapping, and standardization
    • Transforming customer product data from various formats to Moscord standard
    • Uploading of catalogs to Marketplace as needed
    • Import to/export data from Moscord appropriate data repositories as requested
  • Execute catalog maintenance updates
  • Providing exceptional customer service to both external and internal customers on a day-to-day basis
  • Understanding and execution of standard procedures and documentation
  • Ensuring accurate records and documents are stored in appropriate Moscord database repositories
  • Performing other data-related Ad hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time
  • Participating in brainstorming activities, meetings, researching and assisting with data process improvement efforts
  • Maintaining own knowledge of updates in company products, services, and policies
  • Ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s policies
  • Performing any other duties as requested by the Customer Service Team Lead, Head of Customer Service, or Chief Information Officer

To apply for the role, you must have the following:

  • Open to fresh/recent graduates with beginner to intermediate level of proficiency in Excel
  • Relevant customer service experience is desired
  • Proficient or advanced skills with data-processing tools particularly in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications – essential
  • Basic knowledge or experience with VBA Macros - desirable
  • Basic knowledge or experience with MS Access or databases - desirable
  • Ability to speak, read and write English – essential
  • Good research skills particularly using the web - essential
  • Excellent computer skills and internet-savvy - essential
