IT Support Associate

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Lone Wolf is looking for an IT Support Associate to assist with Desktop Support for our offices across the US and Canada.

 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

 

  • Support all aspects of office technology.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain all end user computing technologies including, but not limited to, desktops, laptops, docks, monitors, printers, LAN, phones, conference devices, mobile devices, WAP and related Operating Systems and software.
  • Uphold and implement security standards in compliance with IT Security department.
  • Determines and resolves PC software problems and provides technical support of PC software including interfacing with technical support staff from various software and hardware vendors.
  • Installs and configures PC software such as Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, VPN software, etc.
  • Maintains inventory of PC hardware, PC software, and printers.
  • Maintains knowledge of current PC hardware, PC software, and network capabilities.
  • Support users by writing and maintaining documentation that help to answer questions and resolve problems.
  • Assist Management in gathering information and creating processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Gather information for status reports on progress of projects, open items, and issues.
  • Manage small to medium projects as needed.
  • Must have effective verbal communication skills to handle Help Desk activities.
  • Must be able to maintain strict security for all User profiles and passwords created.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
  • Handle AD account creations/deletions.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to handle after hours requests.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Office 365
  • EDUCATION: Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Windows operating system required.
  • Experience administratively supporting Microsoft Windows (Desktop and Server)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Visio, Excel, and etc.)
  • Experience with network switching technology (VLAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, and etc.)
  • Experience building and configuring desktop and laptop PCs in a Windows environment required.
  • Demonstrable experience in the identification, description, analysis, and solution of system related software problems and a sound understanding of system hardware functionality.
  • Experience in systems analysis and design is desired.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Practical knowledge of ITIL best practice process framework for IT Operations is desired.
  • Good interpersonal skills are required.
  • Enthusiastic about technology
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to work quickly and effectively under pressure and to efficiently handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to be on call
  • Ability to work after normal business hours as needed
