The Financial Analyst II is essential for analyzing financial data, offering insights, and aiding strategic decision-making within an organization. This role generally involves handling financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and performing financial analysis to inform business decisions. This position works closely with various department heads to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and suggest improvements.

In addition to the standard responsibilities of an analyst, this role will encompass the development of new, valuable reports and the enhancement of existing ones. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their expertise in ERP systems and Power BI, as these tools are integral to their daily tasks. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying reporting needs and opportunities for improvement, ensuring that the data provided is both accurate and actionable. The candidate must demonstrate a strong ability to analyze complex data sets, generate insights, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Furthermore, they should be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful reports and dashboards.

  • Collects and organizes financial data from various sources to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Prepares management reports monthly and monitors actual expense utilization against budget
  • Assists in the development of budgets & forecasts by gathering relevant financial data and inputting it into budgeting templates and systems.
  • Creates and maintains financial models that aid in scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and decision-making processes.
  • Creates clear and concise presentations that convey financial information to stakeholders.
  • Maintains accurate and organized financial records and databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Supports ad hoc financial analysis requests from management and managers to address specific business inquiries and provide actionable insights.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements within the financial planning and analysis function.
  • Performs other functions as may be assigned by his/her superiors

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Must have 3-4 years experience from similar field
  • Proficient in financial modeling, Excel, and financial management software.
  • Strong understanding of business finance and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey financial insights to various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
