The primary function of this role is to efficiently handle the processing of accounting transactions and perform end-of-month tasks for LDK Seniors’ Living, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance across all our operations.

  • Efficient processing of direct debits into the banking platform, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle inter-entity financial transactions and recharges with precision.
  • Oversee and manage the accounts receivable process, including receipting and settling accounts to maintain financial health.
  • Prepare accurate payment files for both internal and external suppliers to ensure timely settlements.
  • Execute monthly journal entries as required to keep accurate financial records.
  • Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts, including Trade Creditors and Debtors, ensuring all financial data is correctly reported.
  • Manage the Fixed Asset Register, processing asset journals as necessary.
  • Prepare and analyze end-of-month journals, including prepayments and accruals, to close the financial month efficiently.
  • Provide support during the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, offering critical financial insights.
  • Coordinate with auditors and external partners to ensure compliance and accuracy in audits.
  • Monitor multiple accounts email inboxes, actioning any tasks promptly to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Utilize systems and technology to streamline processes and reduce manual workload.
  • Assist with special projects and perform ad-hoc tasks as needed to support various departmental objectives.
  • Proven experience in financial processing and end-of-month financial tasks.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and accounting systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in the seniors’ living industry or healthcare sector is highly desirable.
  • Advanced skills in financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Capability to innovate and improve financial processes.
  • Experience coordinating with external auditors and compliance bodies.
  • Familiarity with asset management and capital accounting.
