This is a unique and exciting time at Talkdesk to join our Enterprise Applications team as a Technical Writer. We are enabling the success of Talkdesk's internal operations through the development of our core enterprise systems. As a Technical Writer, you will support transformational projects involving CRM and ERP Systems such as Salesforce CPQ, Zuora, NetSuite, and Integration technologies.
Reporting to the Director, IT PMO you will be a valued team member as we continue to build system and process resources across the Enterprise Applications team. The Technical Writer will create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for our products, services, and internal processes. You will work closely with Technical Program Managers, Sys Admins, Developers and other stakeholders to ensure that complex technical information is communicated effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Our customers are fellow Talkdesk employees and we are focused on providing them with exceptional service. You will partner with Technical Program Managers to align on priorities, plans, and delivery expectations.
- Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation such as process and system guides, API documentation, flowcharts and diagrams (level 1-4).
- Collaborate with program managers, developers, and subject matter experts to gather information and understand technical content.
- Organize and present complex information in a clear and concise manner, ensuring consistency in tone and language across all documentation.
- Create and update content for internal knowledge bases used by developer, support and business teams.
- Edit and review existing technical documentation to improve clarity, structure, and overall readability.
- Create diagrams, screenshots, and visuals that support the documentation.
- Standardize templates and ensure all documentation meets established standards for style, format, and accuracy.
- Review system releases and enhancement notes to maintain relevant technical documentation and guides.
