We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter specializing in crafting scripts for short-format User-Generated Content (UGC) and writing copy for social media ads.
The ideal candidate will have:

- A keen understanding of digital media platforms, and the ability to captivate audiences through concise and compelling narratives.
- This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with our content creation team and contribute to developing engaging content across various digital platforms; specifically, you will be working closely in collaboration with a video editor, social media manager, performance marketing lead, and account manager.
- This position offers an ON-SITE setup only. There may be opportunities for overtime (after hours, weekends, and on holidays); these will be on a voluntary only basis and paid at the according rate.

- Develop engaging and impactful scripts tailored for short-format UGC (user-generated content) videos and advertisements.
- Collaborate with the content creation team to brainstorm ideas, concepts, and themes for UGC campaigns and social media posts.
- Research target audiences and market trends to ensure content resonates with viewers and aligns with brand objectives.
- Write clear, concise, and attention-grabbing copy that drives audience engagement and encourages social sharing.
- Use and leverage AI tools to help streamline your tasks.
- Adapt writing style and tone to suit different platforms and audience demographics.
- Work closely with video editors and graphic designers to ensure seamless integration of copy and video clips into visual content.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in digital media, social platforms, and content marketing to inform content strategy and development.
- Consult with the performance marketer to do regular analysis and performance tracking of UGC to optimize messaging and improve audience engagement.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, industry regulations, and copyright laws.
- Provide constructive feedback and revisions as needed to enhance the quality and effectiveness of content.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 1-3 years as a Copywriter or Content Creator, preferably with a focus on short-format UGC content.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of digital media platforms, including social media, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity and comfort using AI tools in workflow
- Proficiency in content management systems and basic knowledge of SEO principles is a plus.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous work in short-format UGC videos is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving trends and industry best practices.
- Independent thinker and takes initiative.
