As a Lease & Loan Sales Support Specialist you are a critical part of the commercial lease/loan origination process.  You will be a point person to assist our U.S. sales teams through the contract origination process.    You will learn varying systems and work in a timely fashion to get contracts through our systems and processes.   You will work directly with the Sales, Credit, IT and Operations teams to master processes and systems. You are a detail oriented and self-motivated contributor who thrives on supporting a fast-paced, multi-channel sales environment.   

The candidate should be excited about gaining exposure to the lending business, a unique and specialized subset of finance. The industry is somewhat insulated from external disruptions, including geopolitical or terrorist-related events, making it a relatively stable and protected sector. The role offers transferable skills that can be applied to both sales and financial services, broadening long-term career opportunities.

  • Demonstrate client-focused problem solving and ensure the smooth origination of lease and loan transactions for our U.S. sales teams. 

  • Perform administrative and support duties related to creating and booking of lease/ loan applications including: 

  • Facilitating price adjustments. 
  • Managing changes to contracts.  
  • Identifying information needed to renew a contract.  
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to move contracts through our systems and processes and get them signed. 

  • Work closely with sales teams to support the accurate entry of deals within our origination system. 

  • Support the sales team with executing on marketing programs. 

  • Be responsive to a wide variety of sales related inquiries. 

  • Monitor lease and loan activity within the sales channels. 

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with sales team and process teams. 

  • Work a rotating work schedule, coordinating with colleagues to ensure coverage from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm EST. 

  • Overtime may be required during peak periods and to meet business needs. 

  • A High School diploma and a minimum of two years prior experience in the lending industry 

  • Demonstrated capability to learn and execute on various financial systems. 

  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written. 

  • A strong client/sales orientation. 

  • The ability to work independently and in a cooperative team environment. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new systems/software as implemented. 

  • Experience in the equipment finance or commercial lending industry 

  • Experience with Rapport, IBM CPQ, Oracle, SAP a plus
