The successful candidate will join our finance team, working closely with external accountants and global teams across Greece, China, Singapore, and the USA to manage and conduct various financial and accounting operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and statements.

- Direct interaction with clients to verify statements and ensure timely follow-up on payments.
- Collaborate with partners to confirm statement accuracy and payment processes.
- Ensure correct approvals, manage payment requests, and guarantee prompt approval of payments.
- Assist in managing cash flow forecasts in coordination with the Finance Management team.
- Maintain updated account books and systems.
- Reconcile payments within our accounting system to ensure accuracy.
- Generate ad-hoc reports to meet various business needs.
- Compile and analyze financial statements to support business decisions.
- Update and manage currency information within the company's system.
- Handle additional related tasks as required to support financial operations.
- Proven experience in bank account reconciliation and handling complex financial statements.
- Proficient with Accounting & Administration software.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Excellent planning skills and the ability to analyze and resolve conflicts.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated flexibility, proactiveness, and a hands-on approach to challenges.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience working in fast-paced international settings.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Dutch is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with the marine logistics sector is highly desirable.
- Ability to cope with rapid changes and high-pressure situations.
