The Purpose Driven Career Objectives of a Technical Trainer

The Capability Development Trainer role is oriented The Business Applications Architect role will focus on the capability and talent development of the DDC. This individual will provide tactical leadership to ensure the success of the different platforms through proper learning and development activities.

To apply for a Technical Trainer role, you are excellent at:

  • Work with the Head of Capability Development to execute its strategies and priorities
  • Design and deliver training solutions to the DDC
  • Implement the train-the-trainer program and ensure subject matter experts are equipped with the skill to deliver technical trainings to their respective teams
  • Partner with the platforms to understand enablement requirements and plan to address them accordingly
  • May act as site training point of contact
  • Administration of the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Provide learning expertise to the different platforms
  • Design, develop and implement learning programs as required by the team, project and/or platform
  • Evaluate effectiveness of current programs
  • Use knowledge to improve the content and/or delivery of current programs
  • Document, communicate and enforce training policies and guidelines as needed
  • Collaborate with platforms in identifying and scheduling development activities
  • Maintenance of the training calendar (onboarding, technical and soft skills)
  • Facilitate core trainings and soft skills trainings
  • Customize soft skills trainings as needed by the stakeholder
  • Participate in enterprise activities/events
  • Manage Udemy licenses and implement governance designed
  • Assignment of mandatory training to Inchcape staff
  • Maintenance of the employee lists in the LMS
  • Preparation of the training reports of the annual review process
  • Communicate required updates (training data, schedule, status, completion, etc) to stakeholder
  • Formal Education & Certification:
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in any program

Your Success Profile includes:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in designing and facilitating trainings to local and international audience
  • Proven knowledge of the end-to-end training development process
  • Experience in conducting needs analysis
  • Knowledge in Adult Learning Principles
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Can conduct virtual trainings through web conferencing and videoconferencing applications (Teams, WebEx, Zoom)
  • Knowledge in the following is an advantage but not required:
    • ITIL Foundation
    • Agile
    • Online authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate)
