NAV ERP consultants provide organizations and clients with support and assistance related to ERP (enterprise resource planning) programs and processes. They evaluate business operations, paying particular attention to challenges and weaknesses with the current systems, and recommend tech-based solutions. They can assist throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, including testing and tech support, and can also assist with data analytics to evaluate the impact of implemented changes.
ERP consultants typically have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a business field. They often have a background in tech support. These roles require a high level of familiarity with popular ERP programs such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV and other common business tools and technologies. These consultants must be comfortable interacting with company stakeholders

The main responsibilities of a NAV ERP CONSULTANT include:
- Provide technical, functional, and business analyst support to end users in real-time.
- Assist in developing client project statements of work.
- Responsible for/managed all testing, moving, and configuration of changes/fixes into the ERP Systems.
- Communicate project updates including status, risks, issues, and escalations.
- Perform ongoing support services to existing clients via email/phone support and onsite visits.
- Create and/or modify reports for the systems to better serve the business workflows.
- Monitor project activities ensuring the quality and integrity of the information.
- Development and continual refinement of ERP implementation standards and tools.
- Assist companies in their ERP technology assessment by obtaining information about their business strategies, processes, desired outcomes, and critical success factors and evaluating technology tools to enable them to carry out their objectives.
- Build relationships with key partner representatives at local and national levels.
- React to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Gather requirements and guide the customer through documenting their needs.
- Serve as a helpdesk resource to document and resolve user's ERP issues and requests

- Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in IT, information systems, or computer science.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Prior experience as a consultant.
- Demonstrated time management and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable giving tech assistance through client interaction exercises.
- Fluent in business process analysis.
- Critical thinking and leadership skills.
- Experience with relational databases.
