Revenue Accounting Accountant (KMC)

We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative Revenue Accountant, who has strong experience with core Accounting practices. You will partner with Revenue Accounting leadership and partners to help scale existing processes and systems and provide reporting and decision making support. The ideal candidate will exhibit superior analytical abilities, have prior experience working with Accounting / Finance teams at high-growth companies, and possess strong technical accounting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare GAAP revenue recognition schedules for non-standard agreements on a quarterly basis 
• Prepare journal entries to ensure compliance with GAAP accounting under ASC 606, accruals, LT deferred revenue reclasses, 
• Prepare the customer revenue and billings on a monthly basis 
• Prepare checklists for material contracts to comply with SOX controls
• Assist in the preparation of our Accounts Receivable reserve on a monthly basis
• Prepare other month-end activities as needed
• Assist with month-end variance analysis in FloQast
• Prepare audit support for team & ensure processes are SOX compliant
• Assist in ad-hoc projects including UATs

Requirements:

• 4+ years of accounting experience including at least 2+ years in public accounting and/or a technical accounting role in a multinational public company 
• Knowledge and hands-on experience working with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
• Netsuite and Zuora experience - ideal candidate is intermediate / proficient with Netsuite features 
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and take ownership of work
• Detail oriented: able to work with large volumes of data with speed and accuracy. Ability to self-check work
• Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and common goals
• Strong knowledge of key accounting concepts, GAAP, SOX controls
• Time management to ensure timely completion of given tasks with accuracy
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred
