We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Research Analyst to join our dynamic research team in Manila. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of the research reports and making voting recommendations to institutional investors. The candidate will also be collaborating with colleagues based in our EMEA offices.  The role is a full-time, hybrid position that requires some regular office attendance. This position is based in our Makati City office.

The main responsibilities of a RESEARCH ANALYST include:

• Conduct corporate governance research on publicly-listed companies in the EMEA markets to which you are assigned.
• Comb through publicly disclosed information (e.g. stock exchange announcements including annual reports and notices of meeting, company press releases, news articles, etc.) to collect corporate governance-related data on each company to which you have been assigned.
• Analyse each company's governance practices within a policy-based framework of market best practices, with a governance and/or remuneration focus
• Draft recommendations to institutional investors on how they should vote at their portfolio companies' shareholder meetings.
• Successful candidates may be assigned to company coverage in multiple markets across EMEA and Latin America
• Where assigned to the “non-English” markets, the role will include the translation of documents for analysis
• Performing other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
