Support the Global Debt Services team in APAC with execution and management of active client debt restructuring and liability management transactions, maintaining a collaborative approach at all times, and high levels of attention to details and communication.
Job Description
The candidate will join the established and growing Global Debt Services Team, based in Manila.
Working with investment banks, law firms and restructuring advisors, the team helps to execute bondholder identification assignments, liability management (LM) trades and complex debt restructuring transactions. We work for international corporate and sovereign debt issuers. Sodali & Co has brought together a global team of experts in this field, and we are looking to expand the team to service the strong demand from our clients.

- Prepare and update complex transaction reports and calculations in MS Excel for a range of different transactions (tender offers, exchange offers, consent solicitations)
- Use MS Excel and other MS Office applications to automate and apply rigour to existing team processes
- Support the team in managing LM and debt restructuring transactions, with a focus on calculations and data support
- Exhibit an ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate an excellent team-work approach, including coordinating closely on projects with our teams in Europe, New York, Latam and Asia
- Effectively use knowledge of technology to add value to improve internal processes and client services
- Take responsibility for handling aspects of multiple projects simultaneously, often under pressure, to ensure that projects are delivered accurately, on time and as agreed
- Respond to investor and intermediaries’ queries (access to offer documents/websites, participation deadlines, options etc.), via e-mail and telephone
- Support teammates to execute bondholder identification projects and agency roles on LM and debt restructuring transactions, working with bond issuers, investment bankers and lawyers
- Review and provide feedback and comments on transaction documents
