The main responsibilities of a SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (ONETRUST) include:

System Administration:

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain business application systems, ensuring their stability, reliability, and availability.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to keep the applications current and secure.
  • Configure and troubleshoot system settings, user access, and permissions.
  • Create and Update OneTrust Targeted Discovery workflows utilizing system APIs
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing application-related issues, and resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the IT Help Desk to provide effective user support and ensure seamless application usage.

Application Deployment:

  • Support the deployment of new applications, updates, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Conduct thorough testing of new deployments and document procedures to ensure a smooth rollout.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively implement optimization strategies to enhance system efficiency.
  • Analyze system logs and performance metrics, recommending improvements and taking corrective actions as needed.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect business applications from unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, implementing necessary controls and audits.

To apply for the role, you must have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, specifically in managing and configuring OneTrust Data Privacy platform.
  • Experience with various system API usage is a must
  • Experience with OneTrust Targeted Data Discovery, is a must
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices, is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, databases, networks, and cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with end-users and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
