RFP Project Manager will be responsible for leading RFP/RFI/RFQ/ITB responses including the review and response of client Requests for Proposal, Requests for Information, Requests for Quote, Invitations to Bid, Solicitations, Renewals, Certifications, Vendor Questionnaires, Information Security/Privacy Agreements, Master Service Agreements etc.

- Lead and project-manage the RFP, RFI, RFQ, ITB, and Master Service Agreement processes (i.e., …).
- Set and follow up on response deadlines, assign tasks, obtain subject matter expert (SME) reviews and approvals, and escalate issues as needed.
- Build RFP/RFI/RFQ/ITB response, proof read, and provide the final response to sales.
- Assist sales team to qualify/quantify opportunities.
- Track and report on RFP metrics, such as win/loss data.
- Drive improvements to the RFP process.
- Utilize RFP submission tool for RFP responses.
- Regularly update a repository of prior RFP responses and related documents to aid in the development of future responses.
- Working with subject matter experts and using the repository, review and complete Vendor Questionnaires, certifications, and affidavits.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years experience in a similar role managing bids & contracts.
- Must have solid business acumen and knowledge of legal terminology, and expert contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong project management skills and ability to interact with numerous areas including Sales, Service, Product Management, Business Management, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
- The candidate must collaborate with these functions to develop winning responses that clearly articulate our value proposition to the customer.
- Excellent organizational, business writing, oral communication, and time management skills.
- Experience working with RFPs/RFIs/RFQs/ITB within the commercial and state and local government sectors.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and plan and prioritize effectively in a fast paced, high volume, deadline oriented environment.
- Must be able to work with all levels within Pitney Bowes and client organizations.
- Ability to tactfully stand ground on issues, even under significant pressure.
- Expertise in the Microsoft suite of products and Adobe products.
- Ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
