About the job XTN-7B4E359 | GLASS LEWIS: RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, NA COMPENSATION (PROJECT-BASED)
Members of our Executive Compensation Research Team will analyze equity plan terms and equity granting practices by collecting data from companies across the U.S. and Canada. We advise shareholders on the quality of equity compensation plans by looking both quantitatively at pay levels and granting practices and qualitatively at factors like plan design, safeguards against excessive risk-taking, and quality of disclosure. Our analysis and recommendations are closely followed not only by our institutional investor clients, but also by the companies in their investment portfolios as well as U.S. and international news organizations and leading scholars in the fields of corporate governance and executive compensation.
The main responsibilities of a RESEARCH ASSOCIATE include:
- Assess the disclosure in public filings and other public resources to identify and extract relevant data points for broader analysis
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of collected data.
- Under supervision of Lead Analysts, create a preliminary assessment of an equity program using collected data points
- Peer edit the preliminary assessments from other Research Associates, as necessary
- Perform basic data analysis and generate reports.
- Communicate and collaborate with Lead Analysts in Manila and across the U.S. to ensure reports are delivered on time
- Perform other responsibilities, as assigned
