Morrow Sodali Philippines Regional Headquarters (RHQ) was established in 2023 to enhance the Company’s expanding global presence. The Manila office is swiftly broadening its operational scope across the equities and proxy business, the Global Debt Services Team, and support services in Finance and IT
The main responsibilities of a AR/AP include:
- All-encompassing and broad role focusing on billing and collection activities for the region;
- Enjoys speaking with customers externally and internally;
- Assigning general ledger codes to ensure sales orders are properly approved and bills are recorded.
- Timely and accurate recording of bank account activity: maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments to the organisation and follow-up, as necessary, with Operations Support personnel to ensure all proceeds collected and payments made are recorded in the correct general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist with the month-end close: ensure all journal entries are appropriately recorded and reconciliations are performed timely.
- Reconcile, analyse, and summarise account information, and compile periodic reports for management, as needed.
- Carrying out day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
- Apply accounting principles, regulations, and policies to all work duties.
- Support annual consolidated audit engagements: provide details regarding financial transactions requests and documenting accounting control procedures.
- Preparation of monthly management P&L and Balance Sheet, plus reconciliation of related revenue and trade debtors accounts.
