The team leader will be responsible for managing the entire HR lifecycle support function which includes On boarding, Pre-joining compliance, CDC application and Training logistics for CCL Offshore Services. Further effectively engage with CCL stakeholders to align expectations and continuously update on the offshore performance. As Team leader the role involves working closely with the team and motivating team members on a daily basis. He/she should also be able to plan and act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Update management on team performance. Ultimately, he/she should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ability to provide support to team for professional and personal development. 
  • Strong communication, conflict management & people skills.
  • Displays resilience and adopts a rational (RCA) approach towards problem solving. 
  • Act as the key “go to” person for managing escalations / issues.
  • Manage team members KRA-KPI and work towards business goals. 
  • Proactively plan work allocation for planned and unplanned leaves of team members
  • Responsible for seamless onboarding process for new hires in Deck & Engine, Hotel, Medical and HR department 
  • Request for background check for all new hire Indians, Americans and Canadian on Thomas Reuter and Scotts & Roberts
  • Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of cruise manning operations. At least 3 years of experience of managing teams
  • Well versed with MS applications especially excel, and a basic idea of analytics 
  • Professional Experience in Hospitality, Cruise operations, Human resource
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with others. The prior onboarding experience is desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
