We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Application System Administrator to join our dedicated Business Applications team in support of multiple systems including our ServiceNow system. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our business application systems.

Main Responsibilities:

System Administration:

o Administer, monitor, and maintain business application systems, ensuring their stability, reliability, and availability.

o Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to keep the applications current and secure.

o Configure and troubleshoot system settings, user access, and permissions.

Technical Support:

o Provide technical support to end-users, addressing application-related issues, and resolving problems in a timely manner.

o Collaborate with the IT Help Desk to provide effective user support and ensure seamless application usage.

Application Deployment:

o Support the deployment of new applications, updates, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

o Conduct thorough testing of new deployments and document procedures to ensure a smooth rollout.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

o Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively implement optimization strategies to enhance system efficiency.

o Analyze system logs and performance metrics, recommending improvements and taking corrective actions as needed.

Security and Compliance:

o Implement and maintain security measures to protect business applications from unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.

o Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, implementing necessary controls and audits.


Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

o Proven experience as a System Administrator, with a focus on ITSM and managing ServiceNow.

o Strong understanding of ITIL processes, preferred

o Strong knowledge of operating systems, databases, networks, and cloud technologies.

o Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools is a plus.

o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with end-users and cross-functional teams.

o Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
