The Purpose Driven Career Objectives of a Human Resources at KMC:
The Compensation and Benefits Senior Specialist is accountable to the Compensation & Benefits Officer and Manager through the Team Leader for providing accurate, timely and efficient payroll services internal & external employees; for complex payroll calculations and transactions and; for providing a mentoring and support role to Payroll Specialist and Payroll Assistant as required. The Compensation & Benefits Senior Specialist is required to assist in the timely preparation of payroll-related data, statistics, and other reports from the Human Resource Management System. The Compensation & Benefits Senior Specialist will assist in the provision of an advisory and consultancy service to management and staff on a range of payroll related matters.

- Ensures proper and timely calculation of payroll instructions in the payroll system for staff leasing & internal employees for approval of Compensation and Benefits Manager.
- Assists in payroll function; and ensures that the payroll process is properly and accurately done.
- Handles Managed Services and all related payroll functions.
- Prepares/review the payroll summary (year to date).
- Prepares monthly statutory contribution such as SSS, HDMF, and PHIC for payment & posting.
- Prepares/review monthly statutory contribution such as SSS, HDMF, and PHIC for reconciliation of accounting department.
- Facilitates the processing and computation of employee SSS expanded maternity benefits.
- Prepares/review monthly reimbursable allowance for approval of Compensation and Benefits Manager.
- Prepares Monthly Peza report and for review of Compensation Benefits Manager and for reconciliation of accounting department.
- Prepares Monthly Withholding tax report and for review of Compensation Benefits Manager and for reconciliation of accounting department.
- Prepares/review the 2316 in BIR system for printing and approval of Compensation and Benefits Manager.
- Assists in annualization process.
- Reviews Annual Alpalist for sending to BIR
Reports Generation:
- Prepares monthly payroll-related reports
- Tax remittance 1601C (monthly and annually)
- Statutory Remittances (SSS, PHIC, HDMF)
- PEZA report (monthly/quarterly/annually)
- 2316 (last pay, and annualization)
- Alphalist
Other Ad-hoc Tasks:
- Conducts employee orientation for payroll and withholding tax.
- Responds/answers client queries relating to payroll and withholding tax.
- Conducts site visits, when necessary.
- Other matters/responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
Your Success Profile includes:
- Graduate of a bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years as a Specialist or Senior Specialist HR task or Compensation & Benefits
- Working knowledge of payroll best practices
- Reporting Skills and Maintaining Employee Files
- Dependability, Organization, Scheduling, Independence, and Orienting Employees
- Experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Knowledgeable of Philippines Labor law in terms of Compensation and Benefits
- Excellent English (verbal and written) communication skills
- Upholds confidentiality
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Capable of multitasking
- Experience in client escalations is an advantage
- Personal and people management abilities including supervision, team building and conflict resolution
- Proven ability to work effectively either as an individual or member of a team and relate effectively with staff on all levels
- Proven ability to quickly learn new information, processes and procedures
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems
