The Compliance Associate (Offshore Compliance & Certifications) is responsible for supporting and executing offshore compliance, regulatory, certification, assurance, insurance, incident, and risk-related activities across applicable jurisdictions, including but not limited to the United States, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

The role focuses on the execution of assigned compliance tasks and workstreams under guidance, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of deliverables. The Compliance Associate contributes to compliance readiness, audit preparation, and regulatory adherence through proper documentation, coordination, and reporting, and promptly escalates identified risks, issues, or delays to the Senior Compliance Specialist or designated lead.

  • Independently execute offshore regulatory compliance requirements, including filings, renewals, and permits for assigned jurisdictions.
  • Own and maintain compliance calendars, trackers, and documentation; proactively monitor deadlines and follow up on deliverables.
  • Execute implementation of compliance policies, risk register updates, and remediation tracking; escalate gaps or issues as needed.
  • Support certifications, audits, client assurance, and LGU requirements, including audit preparation and evidence coordination.
  • Manage assigned insurance, third‑party risk, incident, and BCP/DR compliance documentation.
  • Prepare assigned inputs for compliance and risk reports (periodic and ad hoc).
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure the timely completion of compliance activities.
  • Identify execution risks or recurring issues and escalate to the Senior Compliance Specialist.
  • Support broader compliance initiatives and projects as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Legal Management, Political Science, Accountancy, Information Systems, or related fields.
  •  2–4 years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory documentation, certifications support, audit support, or assurance-related roles.
  • Experience handling documentation-heavy compliance processes and regulatory requirements.

Technical Competencies

  • Working knowledge of compliance documentation, regulatory requirements, certifications, and assurance processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory filing requirements.

Analytical and Documentation Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
  • Ability to process, review, and maintain compliance records accurately.

Systems and Tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, and compliance tracking platforms.
  • Familiarity with dashboards, trackers, and documentation workflows.
