JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role will support the HR team with the objective of efficiently and successfully organizing and coordinating high-volume HR activities.
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
 
Background Check Responsibilities
  • Initiating Background checks with vendor’s online tool and coordinating changes to process with vendor.
  • Coordinating background checks for US and INTL candidates with speed and efficiency.
  • Following up with candidates for further documentation, if needed, to complete background check.
  • Maintain recruitment applicant tracking system in ensuring information is up-to-date.
  • Ensure compliance with background check policies.  Coordinate with Legal, Recruiting, People Operations on background check adjudication process.
  • Produce ad hoc background check audit reports, including Excel spreadsheets to track activity.
  • Work closely with the recruiting team and people operations to constantly refine the process.
HR Data Management responsibilities
  • Process HR transactions in workday for new hires, contractor assignment changes, job changes, employee data changes, and terminations.
  • Run audits for new hire data, job changes, and location changes flagging issues/discrepancies to People Operations team.
  • Process offer letters
  • Run ad-hoc reports in workday and cornerstone based on customer requests
  • Maintain employee files in Box
  • Respond to tickets in ticketing system within SLAs.
  • Update spreadsheets and manual trackers for new hires.
  • Update Learning Management System with course completion data
HR Administrative responsibilities
  • Schedule conference rooms for Learning and Development training sessions
  • Schedule interviews for candidates
  • Send reminders to training participants and new hires
  • Send reminders to candidates
  • Perform administrative duties as required to support the People Operations team.
 
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in an HR Specialist/Generalist role
  • Experience with Workday and HRIS Systems.
  • Experience with ticketing systems.  Servicenow is preferred.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems.  Cornerstone is preferred.
  • Experience with electronic file systems.  Box is preferred.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks while managing their work time efficiently.
  • Proficient in outlook and recruiting applicant tracking systems.
  • Previous experience managing background check programs is highly desired.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • High-energy, driven, articulate, and friendly personality with a customer-service mindset.
  • Experience supporting recruitment and HR activity supporting a tech company.
