- Strong expertise in the US Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain, with the ability to effectively relate clinical scenarios to Release Of Information (ROI) and coding processes.
- Accountable for the governance and rigor of functional learning health, including on-the-job training, need-based learning, continuous education, call quality improvement, and addressing knowledge gaps.
- Leads and manages a team of Process Coaches, ensuring alignment with learning goals and operational excellence.
- Delivers impactful training programs by applying effective learning methodologies in both group and individual settings, fostering motivation and engagement.
- Designs comprehensive training plans, including learning objectives, instructional strategies, evaluation methods, and timelines aligned with organizational needs.
- Develops training materials and collateral using internal resources to support learning initiatives.
- Conducts Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in collaboration with Operations and Transformation teams to identify and address skill gaps.
- Implements TNA findings to deliver targeted training solutions that meet operational requirements and uphold quality standards.
- Coordinates closely with Operations and Transformation teams to understand client expectations and business requirements.
- Actively participates in transition projects, demonstrating commitment and engagement in both internal and client-facing discussions.
- Ensures training content and resources remain current and aligned with evolving business needs.
- Participates in inter- and intra-departmental calibrations to promote consistent delivery and upskilling across teams.
- Serves as a subject matter expert, acting as the go-to resource for project-related queries and challenges within their area of expertise.
- Contributes to departmental learning and development initiatives, staying informed about ongoing activities and strategic goals.
- Performs additional tasks as needed to support departmental objectives and continuous improvement.
- Proven expertise in Emergency Department (ED) Facility, Surgery, and Observation Coding
- Minimum of 3–4 years of hands-on experience in a medical coding role
- At least 3 years of leadership experience as a Team Lead in a similar coding process
