The successful candidate will lead initiatives around identity, collaboration, automation, and patching best practices, working closely with clients to ensure stable, secure, and efficient Microsoft environments.

  • Design, manage, and troubleshoot hybrid Active Directory environments including on-prem, and hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Intune.
  • Experience managing Exchange Server (2013/2016/2019) including mailbox databases, DAGs, connectors
  • Administration of DNS, DHCP, file/print services, and certificate services (PKI)
  • Maintain patch management best practices across Windows Server and Desktop infrastructure using native tools and/or RMM platforms.
  • Knowledge of Azure IaaS services (VMs, storage, virtual networks)
  • Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)
  • Automate routine administrative tasks with PowerShell and create scripts to support reporting, patching, and user management.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders to develop IT roadmaps and provide ongoing advisory and project implementation support.
  • Respond to escalated technical issues and serve as a senior escalation point for Microsoft services-related incidents.
  • Lead knowledge sharing, documentation efforts, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with remote support teams, validating their work and guiding their efforts as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines and service level expectations.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring end-user satisfaction and maintaining a positive relationship with clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise Microsoft infrastructure.
  • Proven experience with:
    • Active Directory and Entra/Azure AD (including Entra Connect)
    • Group Policy and DNS management
    • Exchange Server and/or Exchange Online (migrations, maintenance, troubleshooting)
    • SharePoint administration (On-premise and Office 365)
    • Windows Server patching and automation
    • Management of RDS roles: RD Session Host, RD Connection Broker, RD Gateway, RD Licensing
  • Strong powershell scripting skills for automation, reporting, and bulk configuration across services
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer success.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting Microsoft technologies in complex or enterprise environments.
  • Experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or customer-facing consulting role.
  • Microsoft certifications such as:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102)
    • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300)
    • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800 / AZ-801)
  • Familiarity with service delivery using ITIL frameworks and ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
  • Experience with security and compliance features of Microsoft 365 (MFA, Conditional Access, DLP).
  • Experience with third-party monitoring and automation tools such as LogicMonitor, Datto RMM, or N-Able.
  • Familiarity with other scripting or automation languages such as Python (bonus).
