ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a talented SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to aid in the development of software and programs and facilitate the proper design and implementation of software in a web-based environment through detailed coding and technical innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The candidate must be a graduate of any related 4-year course.
- With at least 4 years of experience in software development
- Must have familiarity with the following: JavaScript, Version control systems, Linux, PHP
- Knowledgeable of software development life cycle
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Team-player and can work in minimal supervision
- Willing to work in any KMC Sites
- Willing to work at night (US Shift)
- Can start ASAP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize various coding languages to design and implement software that meets or exceeds project needs.
- Collaborate and communicate with team members to determine best practices and user requirements.
- Troubleshoot coding problems and analyze code for weaknesses and errors.
- Dig into existing programs to find the root cause of replicated problems.
- Adequately test software changes to verify functionality.
- Build solutions easily reviewed and modified by others.
- Able to adapt as project scope changes.
- Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members in the use of software applications.
- Maintain existing programs as needed.
- Work as part of a team with individual requirements and deadlines.
- Write technical reports and document test procedures with results.
