The Accounting Specialist will handle day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and administrative support across multiple Hawes Group entities. Initially focused on Titanium Legal’s full-cycle accounting, the role will expand to include Voiz Trail, RoboDx and other business and investment activities. This position is ideal for someone who is both hands-on and strategic—able to manage transactions today while helping establish scalable accounting processes for the future.

  • Manage daily accounting operations in QuickBooks Online (or other accounting platforms as needed).
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, vendor invoices, and client billing follow-ups.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, month-end closing reports, and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external clients to address billing inquiries, payment clarifications, and financial discrepancies.
  • Support the CEO in organizing financial data, shareholder notes, and investmentrelated transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Collaborate on process improvement, standardization, and documentation of workflows.
  • Provide recommendations on accounting software, best practices, and future team-building initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for financial queries requiring strong written and verbal communication (including client-facing situations). 
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience (bookkeeping to senior accounting/controller track).
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online strongly preferred; familiarity with Xero, Zoho, Sage, or other platforms is a plus
  • Solid understanding U.S GAAP
  • Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets and ability to complete financial/Excel assessments.
  • Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal, with confidence in client-facing discussions.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience supporting U.S.-based clients or working across multiple entities is a plus.
