The Procurement Project Expeditor plays a critical role within the supply chain, ensuring the efficient movement and timely delivery of all procured items necessary for project success.   • Monitor and track purchase orders from issuance to delivery, ensuring on-time arrival of materials and services.
  • Manage the Project Expediting log; and update Project Purchase Orders in GP regularly
  • Follow up with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve order discrepancies, backorders, and delays.
  • Update and maintain, delivery schedules, and status reports.
  • Collaborate with procurement, Materials Management, and project teams to communicate order status and delivery timelines.
  • Identify potential delays or risks in the supply chain and escalate issues for resolution.
  • Verify and confirm shipping and delivery documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and invoices; ensure timely goods receipt
  • Coordinate with logistics and shipping providers to manage transportation timelines and delivery requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier communications, status updates, and corrective actions.
  • Support supplier performance reviews by providing expediting data and feedback.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of procurement and expediting processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in , Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement support, expediting, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365, Great Plains, SAP) and procurement software preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong and effective written and verbal (English) communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
