Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects while completing estimating duties
  
• Supervise site superintendents, vendors, and subcontractors
  
• Communicate with project owners and engineers
  
• Attend pre-bid meetings and develop accurate bid proposals
  
• Negotiate and manage subcontracts
  
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  
• Handle change order pricing and negotiations
  

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in site work and utility construction project management
  
• A record of successfully estimating and managing civil site and utility projects
  
• Working knowledge of civil site and utility construction methods and production rates
  
• Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree is desirable
  
• Cost accounting experience preferred
