The client is seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and maintaining PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems used in industrial automation processes within the plastics industry. The PLC Programmer will collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing systems.

- Conduct testing and debugging of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality in plastics manufacturing environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC systems with other control systems and equipment used in plastics manufacturing
- Provide technical support and assistance to production and maintenance teams working with plastics processing equipment
- Document and maintain detailed records of PLC programs, configurations, and modifications for plastics manufacturing systems
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to PLC programming and automation within the plastics industry
Qualifications
- Associates degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment within the plastics industry is preferred
